Recipes and rules are posted for the Oregon Wheat Foundation 2026 Baking Contest. The contests will be held in seven selected counties: Gilliam, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa and Wasco.

There are two age groups, juniors, ages 7-13 and adults, ages 14 and up.  This summer, juniors will be baking a Oreo Cookies and Cream Cupcakes and the adults an Almond Butter Cake with Chocolate Frosting.  All participants at each fair will be using the same recipes. 

Prizes are as follows:

Adults: 1^st $100; 2^nd $75; 3^rd  $50

Juniors: 1^st $50; 2^nd $35; 3^rd   $25
