For 2026, the Oregon Wheat Foundation has expanded baking contests to county fairs in additional counties. Make plans to participate this year in county fairs for Morrow, Gilliam, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa and Wasco counties!

The Foundation sponsors a junior (ages 7-13) and adult (ages 14 and up) contest in each of the seven selected wheat growing counties. 

Prizes awards are as follows:

Adults: 1st place $100; 2nd place $75 and 3rd place $50

Juniors: 1st place $50; 2nd place $35 and 3rd place $25
